Our history
We were born to do things differently
2017
Launch
We constitute the firm with the vision of delivering tailor-made projects for each client, with maximum commitment. We launched our first projects in September: they were a success.
2018–20
Consolidation
We consolidated the team and everything it had achieved, building the corporate capabilities to keep growing organically at the same level of excellence.
2021–24
Expansion
We strengthened the team and opened an office in Lisbon. We consolidated our core clients and businesses and diversified across sectors and geographies. We launched Signature Ventures, our venture builder practice.
2025–26
We reinvent ourselves
We moved to an exponential model: AI-augmented consulting for the C-Suite, support for high-impact transformations and the launch of independent businesses.

Managing Partner
30+ years of experience
Co-founder of Signature. He has led strategic projects in consumer goods, financial services and healthcare. He was partner and Country Manager for Italy at Europraxis-Minsait. Bachelor's degree and MBA from ESADE and CEMS Master's from Bocconi.
Manuel Boullosa
Managing Partner
20+ years of experience
Co-founder of Signature. He has advised leading financial institutions, insurers and family-owned business groups on strategy, corporate governance and value creation. He was head of retail banking at la Caixa. Law degree and MBA from ESADE.
Elena Boffa Tarlatta
Partner
20+ years of experience
Leads the Consumer Goods & Retail practice, with go-to-market, revenue growth management, performance improvement and turnaround projects. A PhD in civil engineering, she brings advanced analytics and data into strategic decision-making.
Marc Cortés
Partner
15+ years of experience
Runs the Pharma practice, with commercial and go-to-market initiatives deployed across Europe and Latin America. He worked in industry before consulting: he knows how a strategy lands in operations. Industrial engineer and MBA from IESE and NYU Stern.
Miguel Fierro
CAIO
15+ years of experience
Leads the firm's AI practice. He spent ten years at Microsoft building artificial intelligence systems in production and has founded four startups in the field. He holds a PhD in robotics from King's College London and currently teaches at IE University.
Ignacio Álvarez
CEO Signature Ventures
15+ years of experience
Drives value creation projects (strategic plans, business building, growth management) for multinationals across a range of sectors, with a particular focus on financial services in recent years. Engineer from ICAI with an MBA from IESE and NYU Stern.
Andrés Contreras
CTO
10+ years of experience
Heads the Digital Transformation and Exponential Technologies practice, focused on AI, robotics and next-generation architectures. A serial entrepreneur, he has previously worked at NTT Data, Banc Sabadell and Hyperloop.
