What are we going to use your data for?

As a general rule, your personal data will be used so that we can deal with you and provide you with our services.

It may also be used for other activities, such as sending you information about our activities or promoting them.

Why do we need to use your data?

Your personal data is necessary for us to deal with you and provide you with our services. To that end, we will offer you a set of tick boxes allowing you to decide clearly and simply about the use of your personal information.

Who will have access to the information we ask you for?

As a general rule, only duly authorised staff of our firm will have access to the information we ask you for.

Likewise, access may be had by those entities that need it in order for us to provide you with our services.

Your information will also be known to those public or private bodies to which we are required by law to provide your personal data. By way of example, Spanish tax legislation requires certain information on economic transactions above a given amount to be reported to the tax authorities.

Should we need to disclose your personal information to other entities beyond the cases described above, we will ask for your permission beforehand, through clear options that let you decide on the matter.

How are we going to protect your data?

We will protect your data with effective security measures appropriate to the risks involved in the use of your information.

To that end, our firm has approved a Data Protection Policy, and controls and annual audits are carried out to verify that your personal data is secure at all times.

Will we send your data to other countries?

Some countries in the world are safe for your data and others less so. The European Union, for instance, is a safe environment for your data. Our policy is not to send your personal information to any country that is not safe from the point of view of protecting your data.

Should it prove essential, in order to provide the service, to send your data to a country that is not as safe as Spain, we will always ask for your permission beforehand and will apply effective security measures to reduce the risks of sending your personal information to another country.

Specifically, our corporate email is provided by Microsoft, which may process data outside the European Economic Area. That transfer relies on the European Commission adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, additionally, on the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission.

How long are we going to keep your data?

We will keep your data for as long as our relationship lasts and for as long as the law requires. Once the applicable legal periods have elapsed, we will delete it securely and in an environmentally responsible manner. If you send us an application, we will process the data in your form and CV in order to manage the selection process you are applying for, and we will retain it for the duration of that process. If you tick the relevant box, we will keep your CV on file for consideration in future processes until you withdraw your consent, which you may do at any time by writing to us at contact@signature.com.es.

What are your data protection rights?

At any time you may contact us to find out what information we hold about you, to correct it if it is inaccurate and to have it deleted once our relationship has ended, where this is legally possible.

You also have the right to request that your information be transferred to another entity. This right is called “portability” and may be useful in certain situations.

To exercise any of these rights, simply write to us at contact@signature.com.es stating which one you wish to exercise, or send us a letter to our address.

You do not need to attach a copy of your ID document or fill in any particular form: we will only ask for additional information if we have reasonable doubts about your identity. We will reply within one month.

Can you withdraw your consent if you change your mind later on?

You may withdraw your consent at any time if you change your mind about the use of your data.

Lodging a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency is free of charge and does not require the assistance of a lawyer or court representative.

Will we build profiles about you?

Our policy is not to build profiles about the users of our services.

There may nevertheless be situations in which, for service delivery, commercial or other purposes, we need to build information profiles about you. One example might be the use of your purchase or service history in order to offer you products or services suited to your tastes or needs.

In such a case, we will apply effective security measures that protect your information at all times from unauthorised persons seeking to use it for their own benefit.

Will we use your data for other purposes?

Our policy is not to use your data for purposes other than those we have explained to you. If we nevertheless needed to use your data for different activities, we would always ask for your permission beforehand, through clear options that let you decide on the matter.
